Kingston Contracting Inc is San Francisco Bay Area based Electrical Contractor specializing in the installation of complex systems for the Transit Industry. Our core group of experienced Project Managers and support personnel has particular expertise with the Transit Industry in the installation of; Traction Power Substations, Overhead Catenary, Train Signaling, Highway Grade Crossings, Traffic Signals, SCADA and Radio Systems, Passenger Information Systems and Fiber Optic Cable.

Kingston is a fully licensed (A and C10) contractor and we are certified with the State of California General Services as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE). We are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with the IBEW Inside Wiremen, Overhead Linemen and Communication Workers as well as the Laborers Union providing us with an excellent, well-trained and certified labor force.

In addition, through strategic alliances built over the last 30 years, Kingston is able to form project teams consisting of the most prominent engineering consulting firms, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, systems integrators and excellent subcontractors; thus offering its clients the best possible combinations of design expertise, current technology, systems integration services, QA/QC management, field installation, testing and commissioning services all under the direction of Kingston’s dedicated project management staff.
